In this role you will be the ultimate quality champion within our core development team directly influencing the reliability of global cloud solutions. You wont just write code; you will help establish and drive best-in-class testing strategies ensuring that the technology empowering construction and survey professionals worldwide is as impeccable as it is precise.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Architect and Implement Scalable Services: Design and maintain robust backend APIs and services that serve as the backbone for our global Field Systems.
- Champion a Quality-First Culture: Drive best-in-class testing strategies by writing sophisticated unit integration and end-to-end tests while mentoring peers to elevate their testing game.
- Optimise CI/CD Pipelines: Modernise and improve automated quality checks to ensure seamless high-frequency delivery of impactful features.
- Collaborate in an Agile Environment: Participate in high-level architectural discussions and code reviews reacting quickly to evolving requirements to meet long-term performance goals.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Backend Proficiency: Proven professional experience developing in production environments using C# .NET and Python.
- Cloud & DevOps Expertise: Demonstrable experience working with Cloud development and DevOps practices.
- Quality Commitment: A track record of writing testable code and a deep understanding of automated testing frameworks.
- Relevant Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points For:
- Domain knowledge in managing Geospatial data specifically surfaces and Point Clouds.
- Experience working within high-growth Agile methodologies.

Location: Wellington New Zealand (In Office: 4 days/1 day flex)
