Job Posting: CTE Agriculture Teacher Harrison High School
Harrison Public Schools - Home of the Goblins Harrison School District is seeking a CTE Agriculture Teacher position for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 7-12 teaching position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering effective instruction disaggregating data and fostering a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Position Focus & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a student-centered professional who will fulfill the following Job Requirements:
Instructional Leadership & Curriculum: Demonstrate knowledge of effective instruction and the disaggregation of data. Actively engage in collaboration and the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process.
Classroom Environment & Management: Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth; demonstrate appropriate classroom management skills; and ensure effective student engagement.
Communication & Collaboration: Display excellent people skills to build positive relationships within the school community. Willingness to collaborate with a team of individuals.
Technology & Operations: Proficiently integrate technology in the classroom. Effectively use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital resources such as CANVAS and Google Classroom.
Minimum Qualifications & Desired Attributes
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who meets the following criteria:
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE 7-12 Agriculture certification.
Status: Must possess Arkansas Qualified Teacher (AQT) status.
Certifications: Must attain or possess Google Level One Certification and a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
Desired Attributes
Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Interested in working with a collaborative team and fantastic facilities.
