Your new role
We are looking for an internal full-time Service Development Manager to take a hands-on role in improving and shaping how our services are delivered at Wintringham. Working within the Quality and Innovation Team you will lead practical service development projects identify opportunities for improvement and help implement changes that directly impact service quality. This is an exciting opportunity to step into an influential role turn ideas into action and contribute to Wintringhams growth by driving real visible improvements across our services.
Your duties and responsibilities will also include the below:
- Maintain awareness of government initiatives and identify potential service development opportunities for the organisation
- Assist in the preparation of tenders for new service opportunities
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of project plans to develop new initiatives
- Liaise constructively with internal and external stakeholders throughout project implementation
- Develop policies and guidance documentation to support implementation and maintenance of new programs
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure that policy and guidance documentation arising from service development activities complement and strengthen Wintringhams quality systems
- Develop plan and implement project evaluation measures
- Undertake reviews to support evidence-based practice in the planning and delivery of programs and service planning across the organisation
- Support change management activities as and when required throughout the organisation
- Contribute to the development of program plans that respond to emerging and current service trend
What we will need from you:
- A degree or post graduate qualification in a related discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build relationships of trust with stakeholders.
- Keen analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of projects.
