Supervises: Coordinators of CCMR
Primary Purpose
Provide strategic leadership oversight and accountability for the districts College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) systems to ensure all students graduate prepared for postsecondary success. Direct and supervise districtwide implementation of CCMR initiatives compliance accountability reporting and postsecondary readiness programming aligned to state and federal requirements.
Develop and manage sustainable systems that increase equitable access to college career and military pathways while monitoring student outcomes beyond graduation.
Job Goal
To design implement and continuously improve districtwide CCMR systems that increase measurable College Career and Military Readiness outcomes and support long-term student persistence in postsecondary education career pathways and military service.
The Director ensures accurate tracking reporting and improvement of CCMR indicators supports campuses in meeting accountability targets and fosters partnerships that expand postsecondary opportunities for all students.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
- Masters Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification (preferred)
- TTESS Appraiser Certification (preferred)
Special Knowledge and Skills
- Deep knowledge of Texas graduation requirements and CCMR indicators under HB3
- Knowledge of PEIMS reporting and accountability systems
- Expertise in dual credit advanced academics industry-based certifications and military readiness pathways
- Knowledge of FAFSA/TASFA processes and financial aid systems
- Ability to analyze complex student outcome data and develop improvement plans
- Budget management and personnel supervision skills
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and web-based data reporting platforms
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years successful educational leadership or program administration experience
- Experience in secondary education counseling CTE or CCMR-related leadership
- Experience analyzing and reporting district-level data
- Experience supervising professional staff (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Leadership & Systems Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive districtwide CCMR strategic plan aligned to Board Goals and accountability standards.
- Create and manage systems to track CCMR readiness indicators from grade 9 beyond graduation.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase district CCMR performance outcomes.
- Establish equitable access to advanced academics dual credit industry certifications military pathways and postsecondary opportunities.
Accountability Compliance & Data Management
- Oversee collection verification and reporting of CCMR indicators for district and campus accountability.
- Collaborate with PEIMS staff to ensure accurate submission of CCMR and HB3 outcomes data to TEA.
- Monitor and audit campus implementation of Individual Graduation Committees (IGC) and alternative graduation pathways.
- Analyze FAFSA completion persistence data military enlistment industry certifications and workforce outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular CCMR reports to district leadership and campus administrators.
Campus Support & Program Oversight
- District oversight and program management of the JROTC and NDCC programs.
- Data reporting and tracking of Industry-based certifications earned by students and alignment with program of study completion.
- Monitor and report data on CTE Indicators including CTE Completers CTE Concentrators CTE Explorers and CTE Participates.
- Support counselors in delivering CCMR information students.
- Coordinate senior exit surveys and postsecondary tracking initiatives.
- Provide training and professional development related to CCMR implementation and accountability.
- Active participation in the campus CCMR PLCs.
- CTE program oversight on an as-needed basis.
Postsecondary & Community Partnerships
- Develop and maintain partnerships with institutions of higher education workforce agencies military representatives and community organizations.
- Coordinate district college and career fairs and postsecondary access events.
- Support financial aid workshops and family engagement initiatives.
- Assist in development of a districtwide CCMR advisory board.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate Coordinators of CCMR.
- CTE teacher TTESS appraisals on an as-needed basis.
- Provide leadership coaching and performance feedback.
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation.
- Support and complete work assigned as it relates to Academics and Accountability Division Priorities.
Working Conditions

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
- Frequent district travel
