Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy growth and overall direction of the Tax Advisory practice.
- Build manage and mentor a high-performing tax team ensuring consistent delivery of quality work.
- Strengthen the teams technical expertise and ensure adherence to both local and international tax regulations including frameworks such as FATCA CRS DAC ATAD Transfer Pricing and Pillar 2.
- Deliver high-level tax advisory services to a broad client base including corporates multinational groups and high-net-worth individuals.
- Analyze complex tax matters and provide practical commercially viable solutions.
- Act as a representative of the firm at industry events enhancing visibility and credibility in the market.
- Design and implement internal tax processes methodologies and best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the firms growth strategy.
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to broaden service offerings.
- Prepare and present proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Stay informed on regulatory developments and market trends to support innovation and business expansion.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant or tax professional with at least 5 years of experience in taxation.
- A professional tax qualification is advantageous; candidates without one should demonstrate strong technical expertise and a willingness to obtain certification.
- Proven leadership experience ideally in building or managing a function or business unit.
- Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM/business development platforms.
