About the Role:
The purpose of this crucial role is to provide leadership to the Strata Claims team through engaging motivating and empowering the team. This is a newly established function offering the opportunity to build the team from the ground up embed strong foundations and scale capability in line with portfolio growth. This role will suit an experienced strata claims professional who is ready to develop or deepen their people leadership capability. This role also involves providing development coaching and support to enhance team member performance.
What Youll Do:
Responsible for driving exceptional customer and claims outcomes
Develop a culture of high performance accountability and customer focus
Be present and carry the professional Vero brand in the market with Intermediaries and customers
Lead by example with technical knowledge and professional development
Determine the tasks for day to day operational activity and set clear goals that link to the strategy.
What Youll Bring:
Sound understanding of Strata Insurance Claims
Formal or informal people leadership experience
Previous experience in disaster recovery and event catastrophes
Strong business acumen with strong knowledge of key business drivers that enables accurate budgeting forecasting and business planning
Project management experience with proven ability to lead large scale initiatives and identify opportunities or risks.
