About the Role:
The Workforce Capability Lead designsfacilitatesand delivers workforce development initiatives that translate RMITs strategic priorities into practical learning outcomes and capability interventions.
Working within the Capability Careers & Leadership team in People & Culture the role partners with leadersstakeholdersand subject matter experts to analyse capability needs and co-design contemporary learner-centred development solutions. The position applies strong instructional design facilitationconsultationand evaluation practice to deliver impactful learning experiences that support measurable behavioural capability and organisational outcomes.
Through this work the Workforce Capability Lead contributes to strengthening workforce capability at scale by shaping relevantinclusiveand future-focused capability initiatives across the University.
What Youwill do:
Designfacilitateand deliver workforce development initiatives aligned to RMITs strategic priorities and organisational capability needs.
Partner with leadersstakeholdersand subject matter experts to analyse capability needs and co-design impactful learning solutions.
Apply instructional designexpertiseto deliver engaging learning experiences using a range of delivery approaches including blended and digital learning.
Translate organisational priorities and emerging trends into capability initiatives learning pathways and development programs.
Lead capability initiatives using sound project and change management practices to ensure alignmentqualityand sustainable outcomes.
Evaluate capability initiatives to assess behavioural capability and organisational impact informing continuous improvement and supporting evidence-based decision making.
About You
You are an experienced learning and workforce development professional who combines strong instructional design capability with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders to deliver impactful capability initiatives.
To be successful in this positionyoullhave:
Substantialexperienceoperatingas a lead/senior consultant designing and delivering workforce development or organisational capability initiativeswithincomplexcorporate or educationenvironments.
Strong instructional designexpertiseand the ability to translate capability needs into practical learning solutions.
Experience partnering with leaders and stakeholders to analyse capability needs and co-design learning initiatives.
Provenproject managementand/ormultipletrainingprograminitiativerole out experience.
Experience evaluating workforce development initiatives and using insights to improve learning impact and organisational outcomes.
Familiarity with contemporary learning technologies including learning management systems digital learningapproachesand emerging learning tools.
A commitment to contemporary workforce development practice andmaintainingcurrency with emerging instructional designfacilitationand capability development approaches.
Atertiarydegree in either Education/HR/Psychologyis desirable
