We are currently seeking an experienced Site Coordinator to join our Industrial Projects team supporting work at our Fort McMurray projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced site environment and enjoys coordinating field execution documentation and project controls activities.
These projects are based at the Suncor Base Plant. This is a project-based position that will begin with a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation which may change depending on project requirements. Camp accommodations and LOA may be provided. Strong consideration will be given to local Fort McMurray residents.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate subcontractors and site activities to support project execution
Project scheduling and cost tracking
Manage material ordering receiving and tracking
Support documentation requirements with Client QA/QC teams
Maintain spreadsheets logs and project documentation
Collaborate closely with the Site Manager to support schedule and budget performance
Perform project-related data entry and reporting
Project controls and tracking deliverables
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Site Coordinator or Project Coordinator role
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
Previous industrial construction experience required
Civil construction experience considered a strong asset
C.E.T. designation (or working toward it) is an asset
Strong communication organization and documentation skills
