Sales and Applications Manager Underground Drilling Perth or Brisbane
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical and commercial leader to play a key role within Sandviks Underground Drilling team. As the Sales and Applications Manager you will provide expert support to the Sales Area by guiding machine selection application solutions and pricing strategies aligned to customer and market needs.
You will work closely with Sales Product Management and Engineering to analyse product performance track competitor activity and share insights that support ongoing product lifecycle decisions. You will also contribute to New Product Development by supporting early planning customer validation and new product introduction activities.
This role suits someone who is proactive customerfocused and comfortable operating across both technical and commercial environments. You will help influence product direction strengthen sales outcomes and ensure highvalue practical solutions are delivered to customers.
Responsibilities:
You are a technically strong and commercially minded professional with experience in complex technical product environments. You hold tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have proven experience leading teams. You bring a strong safetyfirst mindset and are confident working in underground mining environments.
You communicate technical and commercial information clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales Engineering Product Management and customer operations. You are analytically capable able to interpret performance data identify trends and make practical recommendations to improve product reliability safety and market competitiveness.
Proactive and solutionsfocused you show sound judgement strong problemsolving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment. You are comfortable guiding decisionmaking supporting product presentations and facilitating customer discussions with professionalism and accountability.
You bring strong digital capability are highly organised and confidently support both technical and commercial activities. You are approachable collaborative and motivated by helping teams succeed bringing energy clarity and commitment to improving the performance of the Underground Drilling product line.
