Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services
The Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services (OFMS) Monitoring Services Division is responsible for providing risk management services for OFMS and ODJFS. The division manages risk through subrecipient and contractor monitoring. The division provides training technical assistance audit liaison services and resolution services. The division provides oversight for counties workforce local areas state agencies and others. Additionally the division manages the County Finance Information System (CFIS). Their services also include technical assistance and training for Ohios counties. Our focus is on efficient and effective business operations internal control and compliance. What You Will Do
In this position you manage the entire monitoring and consulting function for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Agriculture programs. You also work closely with local agencies state-level program staff within ODJFS and two other State of Ohio agencies: the Department of Children and Youth and and the Department of Medicaid.

Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Location: This position will be headquartered in an ODJFS Facility in one of the following cities - Columbus Akron or Dayton. This determination will take into account the proximity to the applicants home address.

Option 1:
12 months experience as External Audit Manager 1 66466.
Option 2:
8 years experience in auditing or accounting which must have included 4 years auditing experience in accordance with auditing standards or in accordance with prescribed management policies &/or procedures as specified in the agency position description.
AND 3 years experience or 3 years training in supervisory principles/techniques.
Option 3:
Completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting business administration computer science or related field.
AND 6 years experience in auditing or accounting which must have included 3 years auditing experience in accordance with auditing standards or in accordance with prescribed management policies &/or procedures as specified in the agency position description.
AND 2 years experience or 2 years training in supervisory principles/techniques.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios E1 Pay Schedule Pay Range 15. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $43.09per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
