We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accounting Manager to support financial reporting and analysis across assigned entities. This position is onsite in Wendell NC.
This General Accounting Manager plays a key part in the monthly quarterly and annual close process ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery. You will partner with cross-functional teams contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help maintain strong financial controls in a fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and analyze financial results (actual vs. budget forecast prior periods)
- Upload and reconcile financial data across reporting systems
- Manage fixed asset accounting and related reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Oversee sales use and property tax filings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX controls
- Partner with leadership to improve reporting accuracy and processes
- Provide backup support for close activities and contribute to ad hoc projects

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 57 years of hands-on experience in general accounting and close processes
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables)
- Experience in a public company and SOX environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Clear communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Organized process-driven and comfortable working under pressure
