As a Security Officer TWIC Patrolin Tampa FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers employees and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related events according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas vehicle access points loading and unloading zones and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify authorized access for personnel and deliveries and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support daily location operations by communicating with site contacts following established post orders and assisting with traffic flow directions and other security-related duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
