As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in Fort Lauderdale FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. At Allied Universal you will support a busy logistics and distribution location by conducting routine unarmed patrols remaining visible to help discourage security-related incidents and assisting employees visitors and drivers with strong customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas loading docks trailer yards parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel visitors and delivery traffic in accordance with site protocols.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement checking assigned areas for irregularities and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
