As a production supervisor you will oversee critical functions in the areas of preparing our clients castings for delivery. This includes overseeing teams responsible for the following operations:

As a production supervisor you will oversee critical functions in the areas of preparing our clients castings for delivery. This includes overseeing teams responsible for the following operations:
- Removing molding materials from the part
- Sawing off excess metal
- Rough machining
- Hand Grinding
- Repair Welding
- Media Blasting
- Non Destructive testing such as UV penetrant inspection X-ray inspection and CMM dimensional analysis
- Shipping
- Ensuring deadlines are met and orders are shipped on-time.
- Setting the standard of performance for workgroup associates and managing results based on departmental business objectives.
- Supervising team members managing daily activities and orchestrating workforce to match workload for productivity.
- Creating and implementing process improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
- Communicating with other departments dealers transport carriers and supply vendors.
- Responsible for the training of new associates on daily activities.
- Ensuring compliance and company policies OSHA health and safety regulations.
- Technical Associates Degree preferred experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Three years supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Good written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving ability.
- Personal computer skills in MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.B&L Odyssey huge plus.
- Aluminum TIG Welding experience a plus.
