Job Summary
Senior Engineer C# / .Net
3 days per week in Manila Office
CBTR is hiring on behalf of a client in the financial services space for a Senior Engineer with strong C# .Net experience to join a team building and supporting critical post-trade systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on enterprise-scale applications real-time messaging and complex workflows in a fast-paced trading environment. Youll be joining a team focused on post-trade affirmation and confirmation processing with plenty of scope to work across engineering cloud DevOps and architecture.
What youll be doing
Youll help design develop and maintain applications that support high-value post-trade workflows and real-time message processing.
Day to day youll be involved in:
Developing and enhancing enterprise applications in C#/.NET
Building message consumption transformation and publishing capabilities
Supporting post-trade affirmation and confirmation workflows
Maintaining high engineering standards through testing and code reviews
Supporting deployments and helping investigate production issues where needed
Working closely with architecture and DevOps teams
Contributing to Agile delivery in a SaFe/Scrum environment
Mentoring more junior engineers in the team
Collaborating with teams across multiple regions
Youll likely bring:
Strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET and Java
A background in banking trading or financial services technology
Experience building server-side enterprise applications
Strong XML experience including data consumption manipulation and publishing
Good SQL Server knowledge including complex queries
Experience working with AWS ideally EC2 and/or EKS
Familiarity with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-focused approach
Experience working in Agile teams
Nice to have:
Post-trade confirmation or affirmation workflow experience
Knowledge of STP clearing or trade messaging
Exposure to FIX Protocol or FIX engines
Experience with Solace or Tibco
Knowledge of electronic trading or market data platforms
Familiarity with Grafana
Experience with Cucumber
Exposure to Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Kubernetes / AWS EKS
