Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at a US based company. The Accountant will act as a financial controller and will be responsible for managing the company's books financial planning financial reporting record keeping risk analysis and more.

You will work directly with the executive team at a growing US based company.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions
Prepare budget forecasts
Publish financial statements in time
Handle monthly quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements:

5 years experience as an Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting softwares
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proven track record of handling confidential information
Ability to work independently and remotely
Typing speed 50 words per minute
Ability to work on US time zone
A clean and professional remote work environment
Fast internet a second monitor and a fast computer

Salary:

$1250 - $2500 per month paid in USD depending on experience.

Details:

Independent contractor agreement paid 2x monthly.
