Job Description:

What youll be doing:

• Providing clear consistent advice on a wide range of ER matters
• Supporting with absence management welfare concerns and OH referrals
• Advising on performance disciplinary grievance and AWOL cases
• Guiding managers through appeals and flexible working requests
• Helping drive proactive absence management and smooth returns to work
• Promoting key risk assessments (maternity stress DSE and more)
• Supporting conversations around mental health and workplace wellbeing
• Keeping cases uptodate in our ER case management system
• Acting as a first point of escalation for ER Assistants

Essential Skills:

• Previous experience in an ER advisory role
• Good understanding of employment legislation and ER processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Desirable Skills:

• CIPD qualification (or working towards it)
• Experience in a shared service or highvolume ER environment
• Experience with case management systems

What youll also need:

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work at pace
• High attention to detail
• A collaborative team player
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable WiFi
