About the client
Our client is the leader in their industry and in line with their rapid growth and ambition to uplift their digitize their ecosystem they are now seeking a Group IT Transformation Director to join their team
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO you will play a critical role in defining and executing the Group-wide digital data and technology strategy transformation. You will drive endtoend delivery of these strategies creating stepchange impact through the intelligent application of AI data analytics automation and broader technology transformation to scale the Groups digital footprint. Partnering with business leaders and key functions you will ensure core systems data platforms and AI solutions are aligned with strategic goals while enabling the design and roll-out of new digital and AIenabled products and services. As the technology and transformation champion you will lead change promote experimentation with emerging technologies and embed a datadriven culture across the Group and work closely with different stakeholders. You will also provide strategic technical leadership to a small internal team and selected outsourced IT and CRM partners shaping the Groups technology and AI capabilities in line with evolving business needs across different regions.
The successful applicant
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum 15 years broad technology experience with significant exposure to data analytics and AIdriven transformation at group or enterprise level
- Strong understanding of largescale transformation enterprise IT architectures and modern data / AI platforms
- Background in consulting or advisory roles is an advantage particularly in digital data or business IT transformation
- A strategic thinker with a strong execution track record able to translate vision into a pragmatic AI and innovation roadmap and deliver measurable outcomes
- Experience working with a diverse ecosystem of partners from large multinational vendors to startups to explore pilot and scale new AIenabled innovations and ventures
- Credible inspiring and pragmatic thought leader with a developmental leadership style and a passion for coaching teams and embedding best practices in data and AI
- Excellent communicator comfortable engaging Board Executive and wider business stakeholders to shape the AI and technology agenda and drive the right strategic conversations.
- Highly collaborative thriving in crossfunctional environments and working closely with internal and external partners to cocreate solutions.
- Able to inform and influence decisions through deep technical expertise strong business acumen and a broad frame of reference across digital data and AI.
- Proven track record of delivering innovative AI and technologyenabled solutions that create tangible business value.
