Position Summary
Surfside Laundry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR & Administrative Coordinator to support our Alabama operations. This role provides on-site HR support administrative coordination and customer service assistance across multiple plant locations.
The ideal candidate is organized professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced production-driven environment while supporting both employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
- Assist with recruiting onboarding and new hire orientation
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation
- Support attendance tracking disciplinary documentation and compliance
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Coordinate with leadership on HR-related matters across locations
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support to plant leadership
- Maintain files reports and internal documentation
- Assist with scheduling communication and operational coordination
- Ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping
Customer Service Support
- Assist with customer communication and issue resolution
- Support account coordination and service follow-ups
- Maintain a professional and responsive experience for clients
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in HR administrative support or related role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-location environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Work Environment
- Primarily based in Alabama with regular interaction across multiple facilities
- Combination of office and plant-floor exposure
- Hands-on team-oriented environment supporting daily operations
