Job Description:
This job is responsible for handling medium to large projects for a Line of Business that may be regional or national in scope. Key responsibilities include recommending policy and procedural changes and developing measurement criteria and project plans such as cost and resource estimates. Job expectations include working with senior management to evaluate current methods and develop strategies to implement change and improvements brought about by the project.

Line of Business Job Description:

The Operations Project Consultant serves as a key leader within the DFS Testing organization responsible for managing the endtoend testing lifecycle for releases business as usual and enterprise initiatives. This role owns test planning and approvals execution oversight status and reporting change control coordination site scheduling and deployment/postinstall validation. The consultant ensures all DFS standards are met and that testing is delivered on time with quality and without production impact.

Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of testing initiatives and execution of core functionality testing. This role will coordinate multiple testing execution activities with several areas including User Acceptance Testers production operations Line of Business contacts and project resources. Provide technology partners with needed artifacts to administer Base support user configuration updates to the operational workflow application. Provides support for implementation of products/services and operational solutions and performs postproduction validation.

Attends project roadmap calls review project information and determines testing needs based of scope of project. Executes tests and communicates results to front line units support partners and management. Responsible creating test plans UAT scrips and escalating testing defects.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes current state processes existing operations procedures and workflows and discovers pain points to develop approaches for potential solutions including building a business case for improvement recommendations and driving the execution of implementation
• Coordinates with the business to support defined project tasks tracking deliverables and their statuses and measuring progress against ongoing success measures
• Supports partnerships with operations management to create project impact and provide direction and guidance to internal teams
• Establishes and maintains relationships with relevant client stakeholders to communicate updates and escalate issues
• Performs risk management activities to minimize project risks
• Assists with creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
• Leverages business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and supports change execution

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of high-speed roll to roll printing and insertion equipment
• Advanced knowledge of Print and Finish Software Solution (PFSS) automated document factory workflow application
• 2 years experience in change management
• Working knowledge of ALM (Application lifecycle management) and Octane
• Working Knowledge of Jira
• Exhibits excellent analytical interpersonal organizational and time-management skills to effectively resolve complex issues.
• Must have strong risk management oversight of the operations area.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Proficient in usage of Excel PowerPoint and all other Microsoft applications
• Flexibility to work off shift hours/days as required by the business.
