Veterinary Emergency Services (VES) is seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Veterinarian to join our well-established highly respected 24/7 emergency hospital serving Verona and the surrounding communities. What Were Looking For (Qualifications)
- DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program
- Eligible for or currently holding a Virginia veterinary license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in emergency medicine
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality care
- Strong medical surgical and diagnostic skills across emergency medicine
- Excellent communication leadership and mentoring abilities
- Collaborates effectively in a fast-paced client-centered environment
- Commitment tomaintainingprofessional ethics safety and high-quality patient care
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds
- Comfortable sitting standing walking bending and kneeling for extended periods throughout your scheduled shift
- Professional neat appearance consistent with hospital standards
