Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
- 5x7.5-Hour shifts
- 37.5 hours guaranteed per week
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary
The X-Ray Technologist specializes in orthopedic imaging performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong technical skills the ability to work independently and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging & Clinical Duties
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for a wide range of musculoskeletal studies
- Capture high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Position patients appropriately and ensure safety during imaging
Specialized Procedures
- Conduct imaging for:
- Lower extremities (ankle femur foot knee hip)
- Upper extremities (shoulder elbow wrist hand fingers)
- Spine (cervical thoracic lumbar)
- Additional areas (clavicle scapula AC joints humerus forearm)
Patient Care
- Provide clear instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs
- Maintain professionalism in a high-volume setting
Collaboration & Flexibility
- Float to other locations as required
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams
- Adapt to changing workflows and priorities
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray/ Radiology experience
- Experience in orthopedic imaging
