Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a VAMC facility. This role supports physicians by providing high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Requirements:

Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
-
ARDMS certification required

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered

Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during exams

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment

Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Follow all facility state and federal regulations

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
