Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Lab Engineer for a contract position working on Alexa devices.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills can troubleshoot complex issues is detail-oriented and has a knack for thoroughly testing and validating electronic devices.
Lab Engineers regularly work with Hardware and Software Engineers Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation and performance of Alexa-enabled devices.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field.
3 years of hands-on experience with software project testing: Defining test strategy writing test plans designing and executing software tests.
Knowledge of UNIX environment is mandatory.
1 years of experience in writing scripts in at least Python

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in Linux troubleshooting and debugging
Demonstrated Lab management and compliance
Hands-on experience in testing Linux and/or Android-based devices
Solid understanding of QA tool development chains and environments
Experience writing scripts with test automation is a plus
Excellent communication collaboration reporting analytical and problem solving skills

Top Must Have Hard Skills:

Experience with computer hardware (IT) Operating Syteums/APIs (Linux) and Operating Systems/APIs (Mac OS)
Experience with quality testing hardware (Linux)
Scripting and Automation experience
Lab Experience
Python

Nice to haves:

Shell Scripting
Quality Experience
Knowledge of a UNIX environment
