RequirementsYour day-to-day responsibilities
- In your role you will be managing our Inbound/Outbound and Storage operations helping our Supply Chain team to navigate through these on a daily basis exceeding customers expectations.
- You will be responsible for goods receiving (verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork checking for damage correct part numbers quantity and revisions etc) as well as for goods shipping.
- Oversee sourcing and procurement for site-specific activities from both approved and new suppliers ensuring compliance with quality regulatory and corporate policies.
- Identify evaluate and onboard new suppliers as needed to support technical and timeline requirements; lead the supplier qualification process in collaboration with quality regulatory and legal teams.
- Coordinate across multiple teams and projects ensuring that procurement and supply chain inputs align with development milestones prototyping and pre-production planning.
- Monitor supply chain risks lead times and resource allocation across the engineering portfolio; proactively resolve conflicts and delays.
- Drive best practices in supplier engagement sourcing documentation and cost tracking; support continuous improvement of processes and tools.
- You will also coordinate domestic and international shipments (both Import and Export) preparing all relevant documentation following ICEYEs unique approach to details and accuracy.
- Provide general support and information in logistics matters to domestic and international stakeholders e.g. freight forwarders logistics suppliers customers as well as colleagues in other subsidiaries.
- Your main tool will be our ERP as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- You will also participate in other logistics tasks from other departments of the company.
What were looking for
Must haves:
- Relevant studies in Logistics Procurement International Business etc
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role/industry.
- Experience in shipping receiving and inventory control.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of inventory procedures.
- Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Experience in shipping receiving and inventory control. - Extensive knowledge and understanding of inventory procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in regulated environments (e.g. medical devices aerospace automotive or semiconductor) with working knowledge of compliance frameworks.
- Strong project management skills including managing multiple simultaneous development projects with tight timelines.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and project tools (e.g. Jira Smartsheet MS Project).
- Fluent spoken and written Spanish & English.
Nice to haves:
- IATA DGR & IMDG certification.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory management systems (particularly Netsuite IFS)
- Experience with EU Customs regulations/clearance particularly familiar with Inward Processing as well as INTRASTAT reporting.
- Experience within the aerospace automotive semiconductor or electronic fields.
