Wynne Volvo of Hampton is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Hampton VA. This role involves diagnosing repairing and maintaining Volvo vehicles to ensure top performance and safety for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on Volvo vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle problems and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work environment.
- Stay updated on technical bulletins recalls and new service techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferably with Volvo vehicles.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or education preferred.
- Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
- Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen
