Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector for metal stamping plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products manufactured meet specified quality standards and customer expectations throughout the production cycle. Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly examine incoming raw materials to verify compliance with established specifications and quality standards.

Conduct systematic and detailed inspections at various stages of the metal stamping process including during setup and ongoing production runs.

Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess dimensions tolerances and overall component integrity.

Execute comprehensive evaluations on finished products ensuring conformity to engineering specifications customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports highlighting any non-conformities and recommending corrective actions as necessary.

Perform functional durability and performance testing on products if applicable to guarantee they meet operational requirements.

Analyze and interpret test results to identify trends potential defects and opportunities for process enhancements.

Work closely with production supervisors engineers and other team members to address quality issues effectively and implement corrective actions.

Actively participate in cross-departmental meetings focused on quality improvements safety initiatives and production efficiency.

Qualifications:

Proficient in using various inspection tools and measurement devices with familiarity in computer software for data analysis and reporting.
