Job Summary
Our Client
Our client a high-end luxury company seeks to employ a Public Relations Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with media houses and fashion/lifestyle journalists.
- Draft and distribute press releases for new collections events and milestones.
- Secure media coverage (print online TV) for brand activities and key launches.
- Manage press attendance and coverage at exclusive events and store openings.
- Monitor media mentions and prepare press clippings reports.
- Handle crisis communication in conjunction with the Corporate Communications Manager.
- Coordinate interviews with senior management for media features.
- Manage the press section of the website and media database.
- Pitch stories to editors to secure feature placements.
- Organize press kits and sample send-outs for photoshoots.
Requirements
- . in Mass Communication Journalism Public Relations or English.
- Minimum 5-7 years in PR.
- Luxury PR Agencies Lifestyle Media Fashion Houses or Hospitality PR
- Media networking and relationships building.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Crisis communication management.
- Event management and coordination.
- Storytelling and pitching.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidence and presentation skills.
