Job Summary
Our Client
Our client a high-end luxury company seeks to employ a Branch Finance Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily sales reconciliation and cash/banking procedures for the branch.
- Monitor branch expenses against budget and investigate variances.
- Conduct spot checks on stocks and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and payment vouchers.
- Ensure timely remittance of daily sales proceeds to the bank.
- Monitor the use of Point of Sale (POS) terminals and resolve transaction disputes.
- Review and approve staff expenses claims for the branch.
- Train branch staff on basic financial compliance and fraud prevention.
- Prepare monthly branch performance reports for Head Office.
Requirements
- . or HND in Accounting Finance or Banking & Finance. Professional certification (ACA ACCA CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 4 years in retail finance or branch accounting.
- Industry Background: Retail Banking (Branch Operations) or Audit firms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS).
- Internal control and compliance.
- Cash management and reconciliation.
- Integrity and high ethical standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Required Skills:
