Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add an EH&S Manager located in Guadalajara South.
Reporting to the EH&S Director this role involves being responsible for providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites in order to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage through subordinate supervisors the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices manufacturing sites and plants with responsibility for results in terms of costs methods and employees.
- Develop and administer budgets schedules and performance requirements.
- Conduct meetings involving environmental safety training and awareness programs.
- Oversee proper maintenance of buildings furniture and fixtures in accordance to federal state and local regulations.
- Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
- Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).
- Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors customers and/or functional peer group managers.
- Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities including costs of contract labor equipment and materials.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering or Industrial Safet or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in similar position in Electronic Manufacturing or Plastics metals.
- Knowledge in the implementation of NO35 - STPS.
- Fluent English spoken and written.
- Knowledge in LOTO implementation.
- Database management (statistics).
- Knowledge of ISO 14000 & ISO 45000.
- Implementation of the self-management program of the labor secretary.
- Proven experience in clean industry implementation.
