About the role:
CoStar Debt Solutionslocatedin Boston MA works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business appropriately price loans make informed approval of credits actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures assess refinanceriskand execute with a disciplined clients include both public and private lenders ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.
CoStar Debt Solutionsis currently lookingfor isa Business Analyst Intern to join the growing Boston based team. This individual will work together with Product Managers Software Engineers User InterfaceDesignersand Web this positionyoullhave the chance to transform product conceptstofeatures in ourcutting-edgerisk management solution for lenders.
This position is inofficeMonday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research toidentifytechnologicalinnovations and product development trends related to commercial real estate and residential mortgage loan lending and risk managementprocess.
Conduct competitive analysis evaluate and document strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats of related products.
Assistin collecting and documenting requirements and feedback from stakeholders including senior management team client support team sales team and clients.
Assistin translating business needs into workflows technical requirements and user stories.
Contribute to user acceptance testing of new and enhanced features.
Monitor product daily operations toidentifyand report bugs.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuingBachelorsorMastersdegree inBusinessAnalytics Data Science Finance Economics Computer Science Information SystemsMarketingor other related fields isrequired graduating inMay 2027or December 2026
Aptitude for technology and ability to communicate between the business and technical team
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in financial or analytic products used in related industries including banking insurance investment management or accounting
Experience in commercial real estatebankingor fixed-income investment
Experience in SQL Python or.Netdevelopment languages
Experience in working with Database technologies
Knowledge of data analysis programing languages and visualization tools
