About this role

Due to continued growth our National Financial Statement Compilation Centre of Excellence is seeking a Manager to lead the delivery of high quality financial reporting outcomes for our clients. This role offers exposure to complex engagements leadership responsibility and the opportunity to influence best practice across the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reviewing the preparation of financial statements for large private not-for-profit and government clients
  • Assisting team members to resolve accounting and reporting issues arising during the preparation of financial statements
  • Acting as a key point of contact for our clients and audit teams in relation to delivery of financial statement compilation engagements
  • Driving quality consistency and efficiency across financial reporting deliverables
  • Coaching and developing Senior Associates and Associates within the Centre of Excellence
  • Contributing to process improvement roll out of AI tools and knowledge sharing initiatives

Skills and experience

This role will suit someone who has:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance and CA qualification
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience within a professional services environment
  • Proven experience reviewing financial statements and resolving accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Confident stakeholder management and leadership capability
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial outcomes
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for developing others
