About the role:
CoStarDebt Solutionslocatedin Boston MA works with market participants across the commercial real estate (CRE) lending spectrum. Our solution provides lenders with the ability to better target business appropriately price loans make informed approval of credits actively manage their portfolio with robust stress testing and surveillance measures assess refinanceriskand execute with a disciplined clients include both public and private lenders ranging from commercial banks and financial institutions to pension funds and insurance companies as well as government and rating agencies.
We are seeking a Quantitative Analytics Intern for Summer 2026 to help build an automated research dashboard. The intern will work on creating a dynamic dashboard that pulls data from multiple sources and visualizes key economic and financial trends. This role provideshands-onexperience with data analysis Python/SQL workflows and modern dashboard development in areal-worldresearch setting.
This position is inthe officeMonday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop an end-to-end dashboard solution for research data analytics.
Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and SQL.
Create clear well-structured charts and visualizations to support macroeconomic and financial research.
Implement automated or semi-automated data refresh workflows to ensure dashboardsremainup to date as new data becomesavailable.
Apply best practices in data validation reproducibility anddocumentation.
Collaborate with quantitative analysts to align dashboard outputs with research and analyticalneeds.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing aMasters degree in Economics Statistics Data Science Finance Computer Science or a related quantitative fieldgraduating inMay 2027or December 2026
Strong programming skills in Python (e.g. pandasNumPy)
Experience writing andoptimizingSQLqueries.
Solid understanding of data structures data cleaning and exploratory data analysis
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with largedatasets.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with data visualization tools or libraries (e.g. Plotly Dash Matplotlib Seaborn Tableau Power BI or similar)
Experience building HTMLbased orweb enableddashboards including familiarity with HTML CSS and basic JavaScript orPythonbasedweb frameworks (e.g. Dash FlaskStreamlit)
Familiarity with API-based data retrieval or working with public economicdatasets.
Exposure to dashboard or web-based analytics development
Understanding ofmacroeconomic or financial data is aplus butnot.
Strong communicationskills and ability to translate data into intuitive visualoutputs.
