Reporting to the Senior Director of International Student and Scholar Success Programs with a dotted line to the Director of International Student and Scholar Compliance this role focuses on international student and scholar success and services assisting and advising new and continuing international students with arrival onboarding ongoing support throughout their studies legal eligibility personal and academic issues so that the students can meet academic and professional goals at UNLV. The Associate Director also processes and tracks necessary documentation for students and updates SEVIS data regularly to meet compliance requirements and deadlines. They are responsible for disseminating information pertaining to immigration and international students throughout the campus community. They are also involved in organizations and activities and assisting with programming initiatives that promote inclusion and global diversification and with ensuring international students and scholars have access to English Language Center resources housing information and all other support resources to ensure a positive student and scholar experience.
