We are recruiting a Cost Controller (maternity cover) to support project delivery through effective cost management forecasting and financial control. This role will work closely with both site-based teams and Head Office stakeholders playing a key part in ensuring financial performance and project success.
Location: Initially Farnborough (Head Office) for approximately 2 months before transitioning to project site in London/Essex
Working Pattern: Hybrid (12 days home working remainder on site MondayFriday) following initial onboarding period
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor project costs analyse deviations from plan and provide accurate cost forecasts (cost to complete).
Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Controller and key stakeholders across Head Office (Zurich) and site teams.
Manage local project costs including petty cash credit cards and project bank accounts in coordination with regional and HQ accounting.
Support revenue recognition and project margin control through accruals for Civil and Site Lots.
Review and approve subcontractor invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with project budgets.

Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in cost control within construction engineering or project accounting environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP (PS SD MM FI modules).
Advanced MS Office skills particularly Excel.
Solid understanding of project controlling financial management and EPC contract structures.
Experience with Percentage-of-Completion (PoC) accounting under IFRS is highly desirable.
