In this role you will define develop and execute regional marketing and communications objectives for CBC/Radio-Canada French Services in Atlantic provinces and regions of Eastern Quebec.
Taking a holistic 360 approach you will ensure performance targets are met by overseeing all marketing and communications activities: from media and public relations partnerships and experiential marketing to internal communications social media engagement and traditional and digital marketing tactics (covering awareness consideration conversion and engagement strategies).
You will organize and supervise all phases of marketing and communications campaigns.
You will analyze campaign performance and identify the strategic adjustments required to achieve key objectives.
You will represent the Corporation within the community and act as its official spokesperson.
You will build and sustain strong relationships across all levels of management. You will provide strategic counsel to programming teams on marketing and communications matters developing co-ordinated internal and external strategies to address their specific needs and challenges.
You will cascade and implement corporate communications strategies within your region.
What You Bring:
Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field.
Six (6) to eight (8) years relevant marketing communications and management experience.
Proven leadership experience with a focus on fostering team growth and individual development motivating and guiding teams toward their objectives and driving collective success.
Strong track record in developing and executing strategic marketing and communications plans particularly in the digital space (audience management optimization personalization and automation.
Comprehensive knowledge of media and public relations partnership negotiations experiential marketing production workflows (print digital radio and television) and social media engagement.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and studies including KPIs for Facebook Google Ads and other digital platforms.
Innovative and creative flair with the ability to launch direct and engage audiences.
Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Strong persuasive communication and storytelling skills.
Good writing and editorial skills.
Deep understanding of the public broadcasters role and function.
In-depth knowledge of the regions served (socio-demographics politics arts and entertainment etc.).
Good knowledge of Google Workspace.
Bilingualism (English and French spoken and written).
