Job Description:

The Senior Manager Vision Care (APAC FP&A) role includes planning & forecasting regional consolidation local and regional reporting & financial performance management while driving standardization & simplification. You will report to Finance Director Vision Care APAC and will be key member of APAC Vision Care Finance Leadership team.

You must demonstrate the Leadership Imperatives of Connect Shape and Lead. They will create an environment where talent development is a top priority while effectively managing the FP&A team to ensure business deliverables are consistently met. The core understanding of the FP&A process business acumen and ability to deliver results while coaching & developing the team will be vital to success in this role.

In addition he/she will interact closely with Group Finance and Global Supply Chain leaders; shape their understanding of Asia Pacific business complexities and influence them to include the regional considerations while determining FP&A process flows and executing target transfers. He/she will partner closely with the SigniFi Implementation Team to ensure the journey is well considered and executed. Also the individual is expected to lead strategic initiatives sponsored by business from time to time.

FP&A

  • Lead and guide the overall business review cadence and planning update process that brings clarity on business financial performance and drivers

  • Partner closely with Senior leadership in understanding and reviewing plans identifying risks and opportunities to plan ways to mitigate investment prioritization thereby providing overall stewardship to business to meet its goals

  • Aid in framing the message and presentations to Global and Group Finance

  • Partner closely with other Finance Domains Group Finance and other stakeholders

  • Manage the Regional calendar and requirements to meet Global timelines and in alignment with cross-functional stakeholders

Standardization / Capability Build

  • Shape and enhance Planning & Update process standard reporting & performance capability

  • Drive Global standards / tools adoption

  • Champion continuous process improvements and best practice sharing across teams

  • Driving utilization of Signifi tools.

  • Partner closely with SigniFi Implementation Lead and Core Team

Develop Finance Talent

  • Build a dynamic high energy culture.

  • Partner with other Finance leaders to grow diverse leadership talent and finance capability pipelines across the other FP&A Teams.

  • Identify Attract Develop and Retain Diverse talent.

You should:

  • Come with at least 10 years of relevant experience of which minimum 5 years of people management experience

  • Multi-country and Multi-sector experience preferred

  • Experience of leading a large finance organization in varied businesses conditions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to confidently present complex information to all levels of the organization required

  • Strong collaboration people management & change management skills required

  • Strong influencer independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success required

  • Passion for people development and talent management required

  • Microsoft Office Finance and Accounting knowledge required
