High School Intern

As an Intern your role will be to provide exceptional customer service to our members. You bring the willingness to provide great service to the members; we will provide the environment for you to grow and develop into a world class service provider. You will offer an enjoyable memorable experience for individuals seeking assistance with financial matters by providing them with exceptional service including processing member transactions; identifying their financial needs and recommending valuable solutions. This intern position is a great way to gain exposure to a financial services career!
Responsibilities
- Courteously greet current and prospective members
- Assist members with account and product inquiries while conducting applicable member transactions
- Operate and maintain a cash drawer
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales and loan goals
- Assist with daily balancing of coin machine
- Maintain member confidentiality
- Participate in outside business development and community/education events
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Six months of work experience preferred
- Possess excellent people skills and be sales and service focused
- Requires reaching bending stooping or standing as necessary
- Must have manual dexterity to key in data
Required availability for the internship is 12:45-5:30 and at least two Saturdays a month.
Available to work at partner branch during school breaks/holidays (winter break spring break government holidays summer break) as well as attend meetings at partner branch.
Interns will be expected to attend a two-week training session in the Summer. This will need a combination of virtual training/in person training.
Interns will be expected to have reliable transportation.
Junior or Senior (at least 16 years of age)
Public Speaking - (presentations community events)
Must be a student at corresponding High School
