Role Overview:

The Client Services Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of medical record administrative and customer service support to the acute site services across Alpine Health and to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of services through active participation as a member of the Corporate and Health Information teams. The Client Services Administration Officer will have skills including well developed interpersonal and communication skills with an excellence in customer service respect for confidentiality and the ability to recognise and deal appropriately with sensitive issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Records Has responsibility for the daily and long-term administrative activities associated with the patient / client medical records including the accuracy maintenance storage and retrieval of medical records computer data entry and medical record documentation for all patients / clients receiving a service on the site (in-patients Urgent Care).
  • Finance and Statistics - Responsible for the accurate collection calculation and presentation of hospital wide statistics. Responsible for the efficiency and timeliness of specific financial activities.
  • Reception Has responsibility for ensuring an efficient timely and quality telephone and reception service for site
  • General Site Administrative Support - Responsible for ensuring the efficient timely and cost effective general administrative procedures of the health service site including daily mail ordering of stationery and printing supplies attending meetings maintaining site filing systems and providing information technology support.

Essential:

Post-secondary Diploma or Certificate

Desirable:

Cert. IV or similar in Health Administration or similar
