About the role
We are looking foraSenior Data Engineer who willbe responsible fordesigning building operationalizing securing and monitoring data pipelines and data stores. This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles and the ability to work with technologies such as SnowflakeMatillion/MatillionDPCdbt Amazon AWS other external data sourcesand Open-Source tools(ApacheKafka Apache Spark)
Your day to day:
Design and implement data pipelines and data stores toacquireand prepare data
Apply data engineering standards and tools to create andmaintaindata pipelines and ETL processes.
Perform routine data quality checks and remediation.
Ensureappropriate storageof data in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
Build-in security compliance scalability efficiency reliability fidelity flexibility and portability into data solutions.
Collaborate withData Solution Architects from Global Business Analysts and other stakeholders to understand dataarchitecturalrequirementsand deliver solutions.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure data solutions align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance the data engineering function.
Monitor andoptimizethe performance of data pipelines and data stores.
Whowerelooking for:
Minimum 5 yearsof experience in data engineering or similar role.
. in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics SnowflakeSnowProCore Certification).RS1
Experience with machine learning and data mining techniques.
Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience in domains such as Finance Consumer Commercial P&C Supply Chain Product and Life Sciences.
System knowledge in Salesforce DCE (Digital Consumer Engagement) ERP and Finance Systems.
Domain Experience:
Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C domains with a proven ability to drive data initiatives in fast-paced agile environments.
