About the role

We are seeking a seasonedsupply chainprofessional with experiencein leadership roles across the supply chain plan source make deliver --to serve as a Gartner Analyst and thought leader. Bringing expertiseacross the full set of supply chain activitiesinthis roleyou willidentify and analyze trendsimpacting the supply chain help ChiefSupply Chain Officers (CSCOs) define both their functional strategy and technology strategy adoptbest practicesfor managing a best-in-class supply chain and act as a trusted advisor to CSCOs. The role willbe responsible forauthoring pragmatic and provocative content and providing insights and recommendations to clients through webinars in-personpresentationsand client meetings.

Whatyou willdo:

  • Research analyze and predictsupply chain functionand technology trends and innovations
  • Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape across vendors solutions and service providers
  • Create compelling high-quality research reports white papers and thought leadership content that provides clients with actionable insights
  • Identify technology trends that drive optimization across the supply chain
  • Develop frameworks methodologies and best practices to help organizations successfully implement solutions
  • Through virtual and face-to-face interactions adviseChief Supply ChainOfficers and senior executives on their strategic decisions
  • Create and deliver high value presentations at Gartner events industry and professional association conferences and client briefings
  • Build external credibility as an industry expert torepresentGartner research and insights
  • Provide sales support to help drive engagement with prospects and clients
  • Activelyparticipatein innovation ideation and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers within the Gartner research community

What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent; Graduate degree preferred
  • 10 years of relevant field or industry experience
  • Expertiseina supply chain role for global organizations and specific emphasis on APAC region specifically including an understanding of key challenges opportunitiestrendsand competitive dynamics
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence and hownew technologiesare changing supply chains
  • Demonstrable executive presence; canimmediatelyestablishcredibility with executives and other stakeholders
  • Strong communicator; able to explain complex concepts concisely and simply in writing
  • Comfortable presenting in-person or viawebinartoa range of audiences
  • Ability to engage with clients and respond effectively to spontaneous questions
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
  • Excellent independent research skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct experience insupply chain management roles
  • Expertisein AI and emerging technologies and their business applications; experience in implementing AI within the supply chain
  • Prior experience at a research and advisory firm consulting organization or similar role
  • Experience managing supply chain risk or network design
