This is a MAST union position
This position has a $7500 sign-on for external candidates based on eligibility

How youll contribute
ACardiovascular Technician who excels in this role:
Reviews patient history and physicians orders. Educates patient regarding procedures equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed.
Monitors heart rhythms blood pressure and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person.
Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

What were lookingfor:
Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g. Cardiovascular Technology Radiologic Technology Respiratory Therapy Exercise Science Paramedicine Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent academic program and experience.)
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Licensure or Certification in degree field within 90 days of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year hire/transfer)
Non-Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 18 months of hire
1 year related experience (Preferred)
