Job Summary
On-Call Banquet Server @ La Colombe dOr Hotel
Summary: To ensure that all food and beverage service for special events are performed in accordance with La Colombe dOr service and operation standards. Previous restaurant or banquet experience required
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Be present on the restaurant and lobby floor engaging with customers during event hours.
Speaking with guests or staff using a clear professional and respectful language at all times.
Responds to individual guest needs inquiries and/or complaints as they occur.
Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience and/or hotel experience
Ensure consistent product and service.
Ensure service staff consistently adheres to proper service procedures during operations.
Seeking out the latest trends and products in industry and sharing it with the Special Events & Catering Manager
Perform & execute all event details as planned and designated by Restaurant Manager and/or Special Events & Catering Manager
Report to Special Events & Catering Menu any need for repairs or housekeeping of all restaurant & banquet materials.
Assist in the upkeep storage and organization of all banquet supplies
Adhere to grooming guidelines and standards.
Observe all legal guidelines and procedures of the TABC.
Thorough knowledge of product recipes hotel policies and executing guest special requests.
Thorough knowledge of and correct application of all hotel policies procedures and practices.
Ability to maximize effective usage of the systems in place and recommend system improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
