Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on data collection process automation and analytics to support the operation and development ofa commercial data huband business intelligence unit. This role will sit at the intersection of businessdevelopmentSalesandtechnologyto build relevant data sets toassistin the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role inbuilding this new function toidentifydata requirements optimizing data flows and driving automation initiatives that improve efficiency accuracy and scalabilityto empower the Sales Productdevelopmentand Marketing teams across exchange products.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements intofunctional and technical specificationsfor execution and ongoing optimization while creating functional output for business analyses.
- Lead andDefine data models schemas data qualityrulesand various collection sourcesin collaboration with engineering teamsand development cycles.
- Identifyopportunities to automate manual orifsemi-manual operational workflows.
- Create dashboards and reports to highlight relevant data points for internal sales and marketing teams whilstassistingstakeholders in building data driven presentations for both internal and external review.
- Buildand analysebespoke data setsalongsidethe product development teamand take part in project related analyses with the business development and strategy functions.
- Create procedures for daily maintenancewith the view on ongoing development pipelines in conjunction withtechnology teams.Act as a bridge between business usersandtechnology teams.
- Champion theteamsgoals educate and empower business teams with relevant and current data trends to create acollaborativeandentrepreneurial environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science Mathematics Finance or a related discipline
- 13 years experience in a technical business analyst data analyst or similar role (or exceptional graduate experience)
- Understanding offinancial and commoditymarketswith emphasis on price correlation fundamentals.
- Understanding of Derivatives products fundamentals includingmarket data trade lifecycle margining and risk management.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and analytical databases
- Solid understanding of data pipelines ETL/ELT processes and automation concepts
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation APIs and system designs
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
