Job Summary
Junior Data Analyst (Reporting & Dashboarding)
Location: Remote (South Africa or Latin America)
Compensation: $1500 $2000/month (depending on experience at client discretion)
Industry: Multi-Location Retail / Operations
Schedule: Full-Time US EST overlap (9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST)

A fast-growing data-driven operator of multi-location retail businesses across the United States supporting 80 physical locations. The team is focused on building a modern data environment to improve visibility efficiency and decision-making across the business.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Junior Data Analyst to support our data function by building dashboards maintaining reports and assisting with day-to-day data tasks.
This role will work directly under a senior data specialist focusing on execution rather than architecture. Its ideal for someone early in their career who is strong in SQL and reporting and eager to grow in a structured fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboarding
- Build and maintain dashboards to track key operational metrics
- Update and manage recurring reports for internal stakeholders
- Ensure data is presented clearly and accurately
Data Support
- Assist in querying and extracting data using SQL
- Support the senior data specialist with ongoing data tasks
- Help organize and clean datasets for reporting purposes
Data Quality
- Perform basic data checks and flag inconsistencies
- Help maintain documentation of reports and data sources
Business Support
- Work with internal teams to understand reporting needs
- Translate requests into simple actionable dashboards and reports
Required Hard Skills
- Solid SQL skills (joins filtering aggregations)
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
- Exposure to a BI tool (Power BI Tableau Looker or similar)
- Basic understanding of data structures and reporting
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Basic Python (for simple data tasks)
- Exposure to tools like Databricks or cloud platforms
- Experience working with operational or retail data
