Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts supervisors and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or authorizations and report policy violations suspicious behavior and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Support access control incident reporting and emergency preparedness activities while maintaining professional firearm handling and following all post orders company policies and applicable use-of-force guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience is required or a college degree is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
