Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: Rochester NY
Shift: Mid Shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Every Other Weekend)
Schedule: 8 hours/day 5 days/week (40 hours/week)
Duration: 8 Weeks
Compensation: $34/hour ($1360/week)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/LVN to deliver high-quality patient care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) and Rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in skilled nursing environments and the ability to manage a diverse patient population while maintaining exceptional care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to LTC and rehabilitation patients in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and document patient vitals including blood glucose levels
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Float between multiple units within the facility as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using an EMR system
- Respond promptly to patient needs while ensuring proper care ratios
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all facility policies procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license required
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in LTC setting required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Nursing Home preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Strong communication clinical and organizational skills
