PRN Staff must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Work no less than four (4) shifts during two pay periods of which 2 shifts need to occur during a weekend as scheduling needs dictate.
- Will work at least two holidays to include: One cold holiday to include Thanksgiving and/or Christmas and/or New Years Day and receive compensation according to the Holiday Policy. And one hot holiday to include Easter and/or Memorial Day and/or Labor Day and/or 4th of July and receive compensation according to the LifeSpire Holiday Policy.
- Keep an updated and working phone number on file with the Department Director. Agree to work in both Assisted Living and Healthcare (will have received training in both levels of care). Notice concerning your availability Thanksgiving through New Years must be provided to the Department Director by October 15th of each calendar year.
- If consistently working a schedule (FT PT or PT) will have a status change to one of these employment classifications

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LPN)
- Currently licensed as an LPN and in good standing with the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
- Previous experience (1-3 years) in a nursing capacity is preferred.
- Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted living environment and with the geriatric population is a plus.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Excellent customer service
