Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine
Summary: Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch emergency medical care in the vibrant community of Hot Springs Arkansas. This facility is a Level 2 trauma center and a regional cardiac center equipped to cater to patients from pediatric to elder age groups. We are seeking four locum physicians to serve our community for a duration of 12 months starting May 1st. Our emergency department thrives on teamwork ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to an average of 1.8 patients per hour.
- Perform critical procedures including reductions cardioversions moderate sedation lacerations chest tubes intubations and central lines.
- Assist fellow team members with complicated cases and share responsibilities in the department.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and dragon dictation for efficiency.
- Collaborate with various specialists including General Surgery Neurology and Cardiology.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active Arkansas medical license.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Certification in ACLS ATLS BLS PALS and DEA necessary.
- Clean malpractice record.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at presentation.
