This on-site contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment while working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
In this role you will be at the forefront of patient care handling a diverse range of emergency cases and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of our emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
- Assess diagnose and treat patients in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate medical interventions
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and follow-up care
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan
- Experience in emergency medicine or related field
- Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
No call requirement
Level III Trauma
Patient Census: 80 per day
Support Staff: APPs
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
